Ward Host job opportunities with Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen Hospital
As part of our ongoing pre-employment training service we have been given the task of helping the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen Hospital recruit for the position of Ward Host.
Our 5 day training programme covers a range of topics and feeds into interview, those that successfully complete have a great chance of securing employment.

Communicating and dealing with Hospital patients, visitors and staff in a manner which reflects the high standard of care and commitment provided by the NHS Trust.
Will carry out light general cleaning duties to the agreed standard.
Facilitate patient nutrition and hydration needs whilst on duty.
Taking patient food requests, ordering the food to meet the requests, prepare, serve and clear food.
Minor level of manual handling (pushing of trolleys etc) so must take this into consideration before submitting candidates.
Hourly pay £7.83
Hours can be between 7am and 7pm (including weekends on a rota).
Minimum contract of 20 hours – plenty of overtime available.
DBS checks must be clear.
Uniform provided but own shoes must be worn.
Open day at Antrec Liverpool (Kings Mill Dock, Unit 2 34 Tabley Street, Liverpool, L1 8DB) on Thursday 15th November at 1pm.
Course starts following Monday 19th November for five days and the training will include: Food Safety Awareness in Catering, Health and Safety, Communication in Adult Social Care, Manual Handling with Safety at Work and Customer Service.
Interviews will take place at the location of work the following week.
Eligibility is 19 plus (aged 19 on or before 31st August 2018) and claiming a welfare to work benefit. We can accept those that are working under Universal Credit and earning less than £338 per month. ID needs to be brought to open day.
