Proceedings started at 2pm, with guests piling into our office who were greeted with champagne and canapes upon arrival. Andrew Lee, Antrec’s Finance Director, opened proceedings with a few words about Antrec’s history and the significance of the new Bootle offices. There was also an exciting announcement to make as Friday also marked the day Antrec was awarded its first direct funding contract. Andrew also thanked employer partners Delta Taxis for all their help over the years, as mentioned without Delta’s constant support Antrec would not be in the position it finds itself in today.
The Mayor of Sefton, was in attendance to cut the ribbon and say a few words. Members of the Sefton council as well as Peter Dowd, Labour MP and other various employer partners such as Autism Initiatives were also in attendance.
We hope all guests had a great time and we look forward to working alongside each and every one of you over the coming years in our purpose built Bootle based learning centre.
