The learners completed the Level 1 IT user qualification, this course is desgined for learners who want to learn how to improve their ICT skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Completing the course gives learners the confidence to use computers both in and outside the workplace. This includes applying for jobs online, sending emails, completing and updating your CV in a word processor. Things that may seem daunting to someone that doesn’t have a great deal of experience when it comes to ICT.
After speaking with Karen on why all of the learners where chosen for star of the week, it was very clear why. All learners came to Antrec and started the course with a positive attitude despite knowing very little about ICT and kept on pushing themselves to the best of their abilities.
When the course was coming to it’s end, Callum our Social Media Apprentice, spoke with the learners to find out about there experience. All the learners said how they felt so much more confident whilst using a computer or any sort of electronic device. They seen the course as an opportunity to gain a useful skills which would help them improve and enhance their CV. After talking to the learners about the course, Callum asked them “Why they chose to do this particular course?”. Each learner gave the statement that they wanted to learn new skills, as the IT industry is becoming bigger and bigger & that it would be a fantastic qualification to have on their CV. The learners have thoroughly enjoyed the course, as it ran very smoothly, and it made them feel confident to ask any question relating to IT. All learners said they would recommend this course to anyone wanting to either learn how to use a computer or to improve their skills.
We want to wish all learners who completed this course a big well done and good luck in the future!
