Our First star of the week goe
s to our entire Santander Call Centre & Customer Service course! Claire, a tutor here at Antrec, took the class and could not pick out an individual as every single learner worked so hard, put so much effort into their work and had a real positive attitude towards training. We want to wish everyone that completed the course the very best luck in the future and a big well done for successfully completing their qualification!
Each of these learners will now go forward and complete an assessment with Santander, hopefully securing a spot at the interview stage.
Our taxi star of the week goes to Ali Abou Hachem who completed Antrec’s Taxi Employability course for the unemployed. Ali was chosen for not only completing the qualification, but for his outstanding attitude towards learning and for his continued support to other learners in the classroom. Ali was behind with his exams having initially failed a few units, but due to putting in extra work before and after class Ali successfully resat and passed the units he failed with flying colours. Ali has now booked in with the local authority of his choice in order to complete a knowledge test and apply for his private hire taxi badge. Throughout the entire application process Ali has been provided with industry leading information, advice and guidance from the Antrec Taxi Caseload team and as Ali was on an unemployed training provision we have been able to support and pay for his DBS application, medical costs and 1st year of his taxi badge.
We want to wish Ali all the best of luck in the future, we hope to see you on the road working as a self employed private hire taxi driver in the very near future!
