The programme has been devised to increase the chances of employability for learners looking to take SIA or CSCS training. Both these industries give flexibility and contract work opportunities. Our Next Steps team are on hand to provide assistance once training is complete to point individuals in the right direction for finding work.
The SIA license was created to regulate the security industry and improve its image. It covers physical, manned security roles as well as CCTV surveillance. Licensing ensures that private security operatives are properly trained and qualified to do their jobs.
CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they do on site.
Training is FREE and funded for those aged 19 plus, in receipt of benefits or earning less than £17.5k living within the Liverpool City Region. Subject to eligibility learners will also receive funding for both your SIA & CSCS card.
