Each of our pre-employment programmes are now open to those learners aged 19+ and earning less than £15,736 per year (£8.07 per hour) on a fully funded basis.
Funding can be provided whether in full or part time employment as long as learners meet the above criteria.
At Antrec we currently offer the Taxi VRQ, enabling you to gain the qualification needed to get your badge at any of the Liverpool City Region local authorities (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral & St Helens plus many other councils that require the BTEC Level 2 Introduction to the Role of the Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver VRQ qualification).
We also offer CSCS card training fully funded, on our 5 day programme you learn about various construction skills as well as complete your Level 1 Health and Safety qualification. CSCS testing takes place within the 5 days and cards are usually delivered within 10 working days upon completion. In reaction to the recent ‘Skills for Growth’ report we have also decided to run a female only CSCS programme. Currently only 11% of construction workers are female, 9% of which work in admin or office based roles. As the industry grows and the need for skilled workers increase the opportunity for women to secure employment in a skilled job is great.
In the upcoming months we will also be offering funded training opportunities in Call Centre (linked to Santander Bank), Hotel Housekeeping (across the UK with employer partner WGC), Hospitality (currently working with Marston’s Pubs) and Adult Social Care (in partnership with Autism Initiatives).
