At Antrec we work with several partner employers across Merseyside actively looking for Call Centre and customer service personnel, our training courses run for 10 days and at the end of which we guarantee an interview for all those learners to successfully complete. Our courses don’t just leave you with a guaranteed interview, but also a Level 1 qualifications in Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills and Equality & Diversity. We are currently recruiting on behalf of employer partners Carpenters Law, who are looking to recruit Claim Handlers/First Response Adviser for their busy call centre.

So what is the purpose of the job? 

  • You will be expected to take the initial instruction from the insured party, which includes having good communication skills.
  • You will also need to successfully convert accident claims into personal injury referrals by insuring the clients are aware of the services available to them.

What are the responsibilities you will overtake?

  • Collate information from clients utilising their insurance policy to report a claim, whilst attempting to capture personal injury claims.
  • Make outbound calls in order to capture data from clients wishing to make claims for personal injury compensation for losses.
  • Meet departmental service level agreements for telephone efficiency and productivity as agreed by FRU Manager.
  • Collate data accurately and effectively by maintaining professional call handling techniques including all aspects of communication skills in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner in order to effectively process the clients claim notification.
  • Adhere to all the firms policies and procedures.
  • To maintain at all times good professional and ethical standards in dealing with clients and other persons of interest.
  • To ensure the confidentiality off all the Firms and Clients documentation and information.
  • Undertake general office duties, which will include Data imputing, scanning and photocopying, arranging medical appointments, conducting telephone calls to chase clients.
  • Any other appropriate administrative tasks assigned to you from time to time, in accordance of business needs.

Communication

  • To be available to Team Managers to deal with any ad hoc issues that may arise.
  • To refer on to other appropriate managers any matters or issues which are outside the scope of your responsibility.
  • Actively and positively promote and represent the Carpenters group throughout the firm, and to external bodies.

Personal development

  • To develop and maintain the relevant skills necessary to provide successful and effective first response service.
  • To participate in training sessions when required.

Personal Specification

Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous Customer Service skills/experience.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of Personal Injury or Insurance.
  • Experience of working with a case management system.
  • An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries.
  • An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
  • Good IT/Keyboard skills.
  • Good numeric skills.
