The one-year adult education budget contract starts on 1st August 2019. We will engage with those individuals aged 19 plus, currently unemployed, in receipt of benefits or classed as low-income earners. Our role is to provide learners with pre-employment skills ready for employment, apprenticeships or further learning.
Antrec was formed in 2011 to meet the needs of the local community, since then we have steadily grown to the point that in 2017, we were awarded our first direct ESFA contract. We have built on our delivery, successfully supporting around 3000 learners over the past two years.
Aligning with local priorities we will be supporting and delivering programmes to learners in sectors such as the visitor economy, logistics and construction. This programme has been funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Adult Education Budget.
Nicola Lee, Managing Director at Antrec, said; “We are absolutely delighted to have been successful in the recent tender for adult education budget (AEB) in the Liverpool City Region.
As an established local provider in Merseyside, we are very proud of the work that we do to support individuals into employment and further training.
The Antrec team have worked tirelessly to achieve excellent year on year success rates and establish excellent employer partnerships with some of UK’s biggest employers.
We are now looking forward to working alongside the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s and various other partners in 2019/20 to improve and deliver greater employment opportunities to our local community.”
