All who attended helped themselves to our delicious breakfast buffet which included delicious bacon, sausage butties, fruit and hot/cold refreshments.
Nicola Lee, Antrec’s Managing Director, started the event with a brief introduction about how Antrec could work alongside the Jobcentre Plus, how far Antrec has come and how it can benefit many people who are looking to be employed. Representatives from Autism Initatives also gave a speech at the event, talking about how much Antrec has helped recruit many staff members for Autism Initiatives and how it has not only brought many unemployed people into a job, but how it has helped Autism Initiatives grow and establish as a business across Merseyside.
After the opening speeches, Nicola then took all attendees on a tour around the new Antrec offices, showing the new work space that we have recently created and introducing all of the departments that make up the company. The visitors also had a chance to take a look around our classrooms, this showed all our visitors the grade 1 teaching and classroom environments we have created here at Antrec. Attendees were invited to ask questions at the end of the event and were given further details about each of the training programmes we have on offer (Taxi Driver, Adult Social Care, Hospitality, Call Centre, Customer Service & Retail). Visitors were also given details on how individual learners can be referred, a simple phone call to 0333 023 7450 allows us to gather all the necessary information needed to sign a learner up for training.
Our attendants left with a bag full of goodies and a very full stomach! We hope all attendees enjoyed their time at Antrec and hope to see you all at the next one!
