On the Antrec teacher training course learners undertake the HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF), also known as PTLLS. This course is aimed at learners aged 19+ and has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
Under the new Skills Support for the Workforce contract we can offer this particular course on a funded basis providing learners meet the eligibility standards. Learners must be aged 19+, and either self employed or employed by an SME (no more than 250 members of staff).

On this course learners will also undertake the HABC Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF), formerly known as the A1 Assessor Award. This qualification is aimed at learners aged 19+ and is intended for those who assess occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace, for example, a workshop, classroom or other training environment.
