The Service Enterprise Awareness Training is designed for those working on the front-line in customer-facing roles.

Our Service Enterprise Awareness Training gives front line staff the skills & knowledge they need to protect both the customers & themselves and provide outstanding customer service.

In this qualification we support students to explore some of the key issues facing us in today’s world & look at how those issues will impact our working life.

This is a trailblazing course which has been accredited by NCFE as a Customised Award. We have bench-marked the course’s learning outcomes at Level 1.


The SEAT award includes 8 of the following units (units 1 – 4 are mandatory):

Unit 1 – An awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and Child abuse
Unit 2 – An awareness of Safeguarding Adults
Unit 3 – An awareness of the Prevent Concept
Unit 4 – An awareness of the contemporary issues in your sector
Unit 5 – An introduction to mental ill-health
Unit 6 – Have an awareness of learning disabilities and learning difficulties
Unit 7 – Autism Spectrum Condition Awareness
Unit 8 – Sensory Loss / Impairment Awareness
Unit 9 – Customer Service Awareness
Unit 10 – Moving and Handling Awareness
Unit 11 – Safe transportation and handling of specimens awareness
Unit 12 – An awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace

The course is delivered over 5 days, students build a portfolio of evidence to show understanding and receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion.
